Sparta high schools changes.... fiction

Low over all student performance has caused some major up coming changes at Sparta High School for the years to come. Sparta High is going to focus only on academics there will no longer be sports or extra curricular activities. Classes are going to be longer and more of them with the new shedual , starting at 7:45 and dragging on to 5 at night. This is due the the low scores in Science, Reading and Math. The hope is to bring the scores up so that Sparta is not behind other top ranking academic schools.

This change will begin the first of February next year. On January 30th all the teachers at Sparta High will be let go and new teachers will be brought in. So many teachers should start looking for new jobs at a normal high school. Also student absences will no longer be tolerated, if you are sick you still must come to school. At school if you are sick you will be put in a infermory to recover while working on your homework or any activities you have to do for the following day.

If a student is found skipping or just absent from school the will be found and ticketed. The student will be ticketed by one of the five new school police. These police are not Sparta cops they are police of the school to keep everything in line. Parents who do not follow the school rules will also receive a hefty fine for insubordination, the objective is to keep kids in school so they can learn more and so the test scores improve.

If the test scores improve school with start september first, if it does not school will resume June 11th. This would give students only a ten day summer break. Lots of changes for the students at Sparta High to look forward to.
