The business classes of Sparta High school are doing a project to help the local Animal Shelter.
Julie Beyer's 4th hour Intro to Business class are selling items on Ebay to go to the Monroe County Animal Shelter. Rachel Scott a senior and part of the business project said, "It's hard to find items to selling on Ebay, but the ones that are being sold now, are going at high prices." They got items donated to them from High school teachers and also business around the community.
The group of Desiree Harr, Zach Culpit, Liz Dresen, Danica Schwartzel, and Rachel Scott are dealing with real life business work. They have to find their own items to be sold, the price of shipping to the buyers, and also places to store the items in," Schwartzel said, "We have dolls, hockey skates, rollerblades, household items, and many more."
"We picked the animal shelter because we all thought that helping out with animals in our community might land them in home," Scott said. The group is also selling to teachers in the teachers lounge and students can go down to Beyer's room(309) and ask to see the products.
